Customer Service Representative
Seasonal (Mid-May through October), Part-Time (2-3 days/wk/flexible)
Description:
The Warren-Sugarbush airport is one of the premier soaring locations in the United States. Our professional, friendly, and experienced staff at Sugarbush Soaring offer flight instruction, scenic rides, introductory flights, and aero tows to our members and the wider community. We are looking for a part-time Customer Service Representative to join us in our mission to provide and promote the experience, mastery and joy of flight. The CSR will provide outstanding customer service to our Club members and customers by making reservations, following up on glider ride and instruction leads (either telephonically or by email), and sales for general aviation customers at the airport. We pride ourselves in going above and beyond to meet our customers’ needs and having fun while we do it!
Duties:

- Meet, greet, and assist customers and Club members with a friendly, positive, and helpful attitude
- Schedule flight instruction and scenic rides
- Use point of sale system to make sales
- Answer and/or redirect phone calls and emails in a timely manner
- Accurately and efficiently perform daily office operations such as opening and closing procedures, and management of the cash drawer
- Some basic data entry
- Summer camp program support
- Other projects/tasks as directed by the Business Manager
Skills required:

- Great interpersonal skills with the desire to be part of a strong team
- Comfortable working with youth and a genuine desire to work with and support them
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Independent judgment and initiative to handle occasional out-of-the-ordinary situations
- Aviation background or experience is a plus
- The ability to think quickly, smile often, and laugh at the absurd is mandatory!
